Leagues and Competitions
Competitions can make the game just that little bit more exciting.
Club Competitions
Members are invited to participate. Matches are played throughout the summer season, concluding with our Finals Weekend usually played mid-September
Friendlies/Touring Competitions
Often played on Sunday afternoons with the emphasis on "friendly" - a chance to hone new skills or practise old ones without the competitive streak - almost. Generally combined with refreshments a superb way to spend an afternoon.
Mens' Competitions
We submit 2 teams in the Somerset County League, played on Saturday afternoons, with a start time of 2:30pm Our A Team play in the Premier 1 Division and the B team are in the North 1 Division.
We are also members of the Clevedon & District Bowls Association, submitting sides in the Wednesday Evening League (start time 6:15pm) and the Over 60’s league, with games played on various days throughout the week from 10:30am or 2:30pm.
In addition, the Club enters National and County Competitions
Ladies' Competitions
We play in 2 midweek leagues, played on various days with start times again either 10:30 or 2:30. The North Somerset Triples league and the Wessex League. Again the Ladies compete in both National and County Competitions.
